Pricing for the Syrona Intensives
The Individual Intensive
Syrona was founded upon the Individual Intensive. For over 3 years, we have been offering state-of-the-art, high quality therapy to therapists and their clients all around the country. The individual intensive is still the backbone of Syrona. You work one-on-one with a senior-level clinical psychologist, in a program designed only for you.
Choose between 3-4-or 5-day options. $1200/day
These intensives are designed for people wanting to work through their relationship issues together. This 2-person Intensive includes spouses and partners, of course. We also use the 2-person format for parent-child Intensives, friends who want to come together, and even strangers who want to share an intensive with someone who struggles with similar issues.
Choose between 3-4-or 5-day options. $600/day
The Small Group Intensive
In response to requests for a more affordable option, we have developed the Small Group Intensive. We have streamlined the most important therapeutic elements from the Individual and Couple Intensives and put them together in a format for 4 people. There are several advantages to the small group, including the opportunity to do powerful therapeutic exercises and interventions that require more than one or two people.
Choose between 3-4-or 5-day options. $300/day
Does the price include hotel and transportation?
No, hotel accommodations and transportation are separate. See information on local hotels and rental car agencies. Some clients prefer using Airbnb.
What options are there to pay for a Syrona Intensive?
Payment can be made using cash, credit card, or by check. To hold your spot for an Intensive, we require a $300, $400, or $500.00 non-refundable down payment, depending on whether you are holding a 3, 4, or 5 day Intensive. The balance is due by the first day of the Intensive.
Can I use my insurance?
Syrona is not typically covered by insurance. We are not on any insurance panels. Some clients have been able to get a percentage of the Intensive covered, but this has been on a case-by-case basis, and usually as a result of the Intensive being less expensive for the insurance company than an inpatient or residential program. The main reason insurance coverage is denied is because the Syrona Intensives provide seven hour of therapy per day. There are no official “billable codes” that allow for multiple hours of therapy in one day. Some clients have succeeded in getting at least one hour of therapy each day covered, but again, this has been dependent on the specifics of each client’s insurance carrier and policy.
If you are interested in trying to get any reimbursement for an Intensive, we recommend that you contact your insurance company directly.
Here at Syrona, we are working to set up research protocols to establish the efficacy of the intensive format so that insurance companies will, in the future, recognize it as a viable and effective treatment option.
What is the cancellation policy?
We recognize that life happens. Sometimes people have to cancel, even at last minute. Therefore, we ask for a non-refundable deposit of $300, $400, or $500 (depending on whether you are holding a 3, 4, or 5 day Intensive) to reserve a spot in an Intensive. If you need to cancel, even at the last minute, you will lose only this deposit. You are welcome to reschedule at your convenience.
